Machine monitoring for your kind of production
MDCplus is machine monitoring, planning and analytics software. See what an ideal setup looks like for your industry, then describe your case and we will tell you what is possible.
- 100+ open protocols
- Read-only connection
- First machine in 1–2 hours
- On premise, also offline
What you need to see depends on the industry. Aerospace needs long cycles and tool life under control, a job shop needs fast changeovers and an honest hourly rate, a contract manufacturer needs to report per customer. Pick your type of production below.

What is the same in every industry
The core of MDCplus does not change with the industry: it collects data from machines automatically over more than 100 open protocols, shows what each machine is doing in real time, and reports OEE, downtime, scrap, setup time and parts per shift or operator. Maintenance, vibration monitoring, power consumption, NC program management and an API to ERP and MES systems are modules on the same data. What changes is which numbers matter first, and that is what each industry page describes.
- Product overview: all modules in one place.
- Integrations: ERP, MES, CAD/CAM, PDM and BI systems.
- Machine connectivity checker: find the connection route for your controller.
- Digital maturity assessment: 20 questions across 7 areas in about 5 minutes.
- Machine hour rate calculator: cost of a scheduled and a productive hour.
- Why MDCplus and the MDCplus FAQ.
Not sure where you fit?
Describe your production in a few words: the machines, what you make and what hurts most. We will tell you what is possible and what an ideal setup looks like for your case.
Frequently asked questions
Which industries does MDCplus work for?
MDCplus connects to machines, PLCs and robots through their controllers and protocols, so what matters is the machine and the data you need, not the industry. The industry pages describe what is usually worth measuring in each type of production and what a good setup looks like.
How do I know if my machines can be connected?
Select the manufacturer, model and controller in the machine connectivity checker. It shows the connection route and the data you can read. The connection is read-only, and the first compatibility check needs no installation.
Can I try MDCplus before buying?
Yes. A virtual environment is provided on request through the Try for free button, and a guided demo can be run on your own machines. The first machine is connected within 1 to 2 hours.
How is MDCplus licensed?
MDCplus is a perpetual license per data collection point, where one PLC or HMI is one license. The price includes implementation and the server license. It is installed on premise and can run in a closed network without internet access.
